Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Molineux - Home of Wolverhampton Wanderers - geograph.org.uk - 1401119.jpg |
English: The Molineux - Home of Wolverhampton Wanderers, near to Wolverhampton, Great Britain.
It is hard to believe now but this was the most successful club in the 'English' league (let alone the Midlands) during the 1950's. They even surpassed 'The Villa' & that is hard to believe. They almost got the league & cup double but were pipped to the post by Burnley. Strangely both clubs are the new boys in the Premiership for the 2009/10 season - I won't tell you who the other bunch are. Will they stay up? I hope so. |
