Summary

[edit]
Description An information board for hiker at the station gives a hint. The underground ammunition storage magazine of the army with 7,000 tons of ammunition exploded in the proximity on 19 December 1947 half an hour before midnight. Not all of the 7,000 tons exploded, there were also many blind shells. But the destruction was enormous. Nine people died and seven were injured. Switzerland, July 15, 2015. (2/11)
