Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Meridian Line Looking North, this is one of three points in quick succession where the Sea Bank is crossed by the Greenwich Meridian. In the middle distance can be seen the next point where the Sea Bank heads east for a short way before turning north again. Just behind the photographer the bank curves to the west again. The Macmillan Way (290 miles coast to coast from Lincolnshire to Dorset) follows the sea bank at this point, so going south we cross into the western hemisphere for the rest of the trip. This is also the last place on the route from which Boston Stump is visible, some 9 miles away.
