English: The Mere, Bempton, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. This small pond, a home for ducks and geese, is called The Mere. Notice the concrete structure on the right that house a pump. The two walkers in the photograph are heading for a stile that is on a public footpath, which leads across fields to Bolam Lane.
