Description
English: The Mansion, Wakehurst Place Wakehurst Place, in High Weald of Sussex, is both a botanic garden and conservation area, managed by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. The present mansion was built in 1590 by Sir Edward Culpeper - a distant relative of Nicholas, the famous herbalist - and retains its imposing Tudor façade.
