| Description |
English: The Mallaig-to-Tarbet Ferry in Mallaig harbour This vessel, which is privately operated, provides a lifeline to the outlying communities around nearby Loch Nevis. These are inaccessible by road (there being none!). It also affords visitors the chance to see the stunning coastal and loch scenery of an area which would otherwise be almost impossible to reach, except by very intrepid hikers. In summer, it makes several trips per day. |
