Description
English: The Lure of The Underground A prospective passenger enters the relative warmth and dry that the station offers on a very wet February afternoon. The name of the photo is taken from a famous 1927 poster by Alfred Leete for the Underground Electric Railway Company, copies of which can be obtained from the London Transport Museum - see http://www.ltmuseumshop.co.uk/LTM/Posters/Artists/Product/The-lure-of-the-Underground.html . With weather like this who wouldn't want to go Underground?
