English: The Long Hole, Bangor (3)
See 197826. The period around late November and early December 2006 was one of exceptionally high tides. This is the Long Hole just after high water. I estimate that the water level was some 18 inches higher than usual. The wind was from the SW. Had it been a northerly there would have been some interesting waves breaking over the harbour wall. |
