Trams were not exactly frequent here, as was normal traffic. Pedestrians such as myself even less so. Transport was timed to coincide with shift changes at Lakshmi Mittal's steelworks, no doubt watched with eagle eyes from his residence in East Finchley. Now known as ARCELORMITTAL.
