Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Leri cut The cut is an artificial channel built to carry the waters of the Afon Leri down to the sea, via the Dyfi estuary. The Leri originally entered the sea directly through extensive marshes to the north of Borth; the cut allowed some land reclamation to take place and considerably reduced the potential damage due to flooding. Taken from the footbridge over the Leri, which marks the boundary between the tidal cut and the non-tidal river.
