Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This is a full view of the second of four exposed relief panels at the base of the monument (SE corner). It shows disorderly conduct, including drinking, dancing, and licentious behavior, by way of illustrating the Law of Karma (Karmavibhangga). Originally there were 160 such reliefs, but all were covered up when the base had to be rebuilt in ancient times. They were eventually uncovered and photographed during a modern restoration, then covered up again except for these four.
