English: The Lapworth Link, Kingswood, Warwickshire This four hundred metre cut linking the Warwick and Birmingham Canal with the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal was built in 1803 twelve years before the completed route through to Stratford was opened. The Warwick and Birmingham Canal (incorporated into the Grand Union in 1929) had already been operating since 1799. |
