| Description |
English: The Lade at Dalquhurn (exposed culvert). While the first half of the Lade (as reckoned from its intake), has long been exposed (1068180), this outflowing half has long been covered by buildings.
At the time that this photograph was taken, the part of the Lade shown here had temporarily been exposed as a result of demolition work in Dalquhurn; it will presumably soon be covered again by subsequent construction work at that site. The houses in the background are in the Tontine area of Renton. |
