Description
English: The Killaghtee Cross A most important antiquity, this cross dated at about 650AD is thought to mark the grave of Aedh, an early monk. The Maltese cross marks the transition between inscribed slab and sculpted high cross and therefore the Killaghtee Cross holds an important place in the development of Celtic art.
