| Description |
English: The Junction of Park Road, Hastoe Lane and Akeman Street, Tring. Hastoe Lane goes off to the left, Akeman Street to the right, and the photograph - looking along Park Road - is taken from the end of Park Street.
The almshouses on the right, 'Lousia Cottages', designed by the architect William Huckvale (1848-1936), were built in 1893 and 1901 for retired workers from the Rothschild Estate. The terrace in the centre of the photograph, also erected by the Rothschilds, is known locally as the Dutch Houses 1607436.
