One of the most important acquisitions to this industrial community duringthe past year is the business which is the subject of this sketch. It was estab-lished August 1, 1888 by Mr. A. A. Jackson, the senior member of the firmand has made very satisfactory progress since that time. The firm deals infine carriages, harness, robes, whips, etc., giving special attention to the bestcrrade of goods. The carriages are made in the latest styles and are finishedin the most elegant manner. The best materials are used in their construc-tion and the highest grades of skilled labor are employed. The vehicles soldby this house are in active use in San Francisco and other coast cities, andare well adapted to all the wants of the sight seeing public.
