Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Hudson Way north east of Gardham, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
This is where the Hudson Way crosses the A1079 to Etton road. There would have been a brick-arched bridge here at one time, but access to the path is via slopes up the embankment now. The Hudson Way was formerly the Hull to York Railway Line. It was closed in the mid-sixties during the Beeching era even though at that time it was making a small profit!! There are plans to re-open it perhaps sometime... although there will be a huge bill to do so and it should never have been closed in the first place!
