English: The Holywood Road, Belfast The Holywood Road is the nearest thing in Belfast to one of the Great Arterial Roads built in the 20s and 30s. It runs from the Arches 599487 to Knocknagoney. It replaced what is now the Old Holywood Road 607631 and was itself replaced, in 1959, by the Sydenham bypass 578124. The view is outward with the Station Road 616169 on the left at the pelican lights. See also 1450281. Continue to 1918650. |
