Description
English: View of the Hill of the Nymphs from outside the fence of the Library of Pantainus (Ancient Agora of Athens). On the top of the hill stands the National Observatory of Athens. It was built over the ruins of the Sanctuary of the Nymphs after which the hill was named. To the left of the Church of St Marina, the rocky terrain is the location of the Sanctuary of Zeus.
