English: The High-head Pipeline Here the high-head pipeline (left) can be seen crossing over the low-head Ardda leat a little below the penstocks. The headlong plunge into the valley is what makes power generation possible. The pipeline on the right is now a surge pipe, but was originally used for generating. |
