Description
English: Also known as "The Eye of God" and "The Eye of Sauron", The planetary Nebula NGC7293 shows up clearly in H-Alpha. It's south Declination of -20d50m makes it difficult to image from Europe but it is no problem from Portugal. Imaged with Esprit 100 f5.5 refractor/ QHY16200 CCD camera and 6nm Ha filter. 26x 15 minutes (6.5 hrs), Stacked with APP and processed further with Pixinsight. Image dates :24,25,26 and 27 October 2017.


Inverse image added to enhance the faint outer structures.
