| Description |
English: The Head of the Mignedd Anyone wishing to discover the meaning of 'Mignedd', should attempt to make a B-line across the valley floor. He, or she, will soon realise that it means 'a morass'. Any walker with sense will gingerly follow the base of the cliff, and even then dry feet are not guaranteed, so as to reach a stile at the other end which will take him/her on to a dry ridge, and a new problem - dense bracken. Such are the joys of hill-walking. Still, it beats rushing around in the car taking photos of traffic islands. |
