Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Harford Rail Viaduct - geograph.org.uk - 1671195.jpg |
English: The Harford Rail Viaduct The Harford rail viaduct carries the Norwich to London (Liverpool Street) mainline over the Ely line (seen in the foreground) and the River Yare. It has six brick arches and was constructed in 1848-49.
This view was taken from the yard of a Truckmasters dealership > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1671186 which is situated at the south-eastern corner of the new industrial estate in Bessemer Road, with their office, workshop and yard immediately adjoining the Harford rail viaduct - many thanks to members of the staff who kindly permitted access to their yard in order to take this picture - there is no public right of way leading near it. |
