The principles for whichhe stood had long been recognized, but he sincerely,nobly, and vigorously applied them, and while wepay tribute to the memory of Grover Cleveland,twice President of the United States, honored manof the nation, let us not forget our great indebted-ness to Grover Cleveland, Governor of the Stateof New York.
