Description

The inscription on the monument on KKH near Gilgit. This is the historical ambush site where Dard tribes annihilated a contingent of the Kashmir army in 1852 during the rule of Mahraja Ghulab Singh. The details can be referenced in Gilgit History.

The monument is erected by Northern Light Infantry Center.
