An outdoor image of the grave marker for James Otis. The marker is a large, irregular shaped dark stone. It has a small rectangular plaque on the front of it with text on it including his name and other information that is too small to discern. The ground around the marker is a mix of grass and dirt. There are black fence poles and chains in between around the edge of the walkway that is located around the marker.

The grave of James Otis located at the Granary Burying Ground which is part of the Freedom Trail.
