English: The Glyder Fawr Tors. 'Glyder' or more correctly 'Gludair'is a Welsh word meaning ' a heap of rocks'. It is an apt term to describe the summit areas of both Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach. Glyder Fawr misses being a 1000 metre peak by a mere 1 metre. |
