Farm Department. There have been several noted addi-tions to the farm during the lastmonth, namely four dump carts, twoof which are double horse carts; twohay wagons have also been added tothe list of wagons. A new roof was put up over the icehouse jooining the corn crib. Insteadof the usual tarred paper roof, a slateroof was put on. The implements have been takenfrom the shed where they have beenresting all through the winter and arebeing put in good shape so that theymay be ready for use when needed. A noted improvement to the pumphouse is the air chamber, which wasput in some time ago, but which wefailed to mention in this department. The most important work of theFarm at present is the pruning othe orchards. The state departmentof agriculture has agreed to takecharge of part of our orchards for twoconsecutive years to show what canbe done by proper care as to pruning, spraying, etc. Assisted by the students of theschool Squire E.
