English: The Gatehouse to Compton Castle - Compton Pauncefoot This is merely the Gatehouse (Grade II listed) to Compton Castle, a Gothic fantasy built c. 1825, but the back part of the house is older, probably 17th century. There is a separate 'trademen's entrance' further down the hill! The estate is currently on the market for £22,000,000. |
