Davenham Gardens, Malvern. -Throughthe kindness of Mr. C. W. Dyson Pen-ins thegad-dens at Davenham were thrown open to theinspection of the public on Friday, June 20, fora small fee, in aid of the funds of the GardenersRoyal Benevolent Institution, of which institu-tion Mr. Perrins is a vice-president. The gar-dens were a blaze of colour ; some of the chiefbeds were planted with Paul Crampel Pelar-goniums, Stocks, masses of Anchusa italicaDropmore variety, Delphiniums, Irises, andPaeonies. A Rose garden with a pergola at oneend is one of the features of the place; thepaths are made with flagstones, and growingbetween them are choice Alpines.
