The Com-■mittee of Management should consist of gar-deners whose names are well known to thegardening community in connection with high--cla6s and successful gardening and gardening(literature—men who have given long and con-vincing proof of their ability and integrity in thefront ranks of practical gardening. Previousrto the admission of gardeners to membershipas being duly qualified to fill the post of head.gardener in any garden having any pretensionto completeness, care should be taken to enquireinto the character of the places in which thewould-be Associates have gained their gardeningexperience, the time served in such places, to-gether with the names of the gardeners underwhom their jexperience had been gained.
