, Swauley, Kent, showed agreat number of zonal Pelargoniums as bunches of cutbloom, very brilliant and pleasing, and iu greatvariety, both double and single flowered (Silver FloraMedal). Awards. Acer tfalwattDii linearilobum piirpureum gracile Crippsii.—In spite of its egregious name, this is a pretty varietyof A. p. purpureum with narrower leaves. Shown byMessrs. T. Cripps & Sons, Tunbridge Wells, Kent(Award of Merit). Canna, Papa Crozy. — An excellent variety with Gladiolus-like flowers, having wide segments, and incolour bright cherry red. Shown by Sir TrevorLawrence, Bart, (gr , Mr. W. Bain) (Award of Merit). Kalanchnc v. FeUhamensis —The brilliant flowered K.flammea which was so finely exhibited from Kew at plant. Its habit is lax, the flower spikes very long andbranching, and the flowers less brilliant than those ofK. flammea. In the hybrid K. Felthamensis, the goodqualities of both plants have been preserved in asextraordinary degree. The flowers are just as brilliant

Chelsea, as a speciesfor crossing with K. Kirki. K. Kirki, though pos-sessing a botanical interest, is not a good garden as those of K. flammea, but the plant produces moreheads, and is much more graceful. The foliage too, isvery ornamental, having a colour almost similar to thatof Ecfceveria raetallica.
