| Description |
English: The Gap The area that used to be bridged by the Forncet to Wymondham line. This was a 6.5 mile avoiding line. There were freights from Lowestoft that went down to Beccles, across the Waveney Valley line up to Forncet to Wymondham then up to Wells via the Mid Norfolk Railway.
It closed in 1951 and the trackbed is a strategic freight route. |
