| Description |
English: The GPO in Tilbury. This grim monstrosity represents the General Post Office's contribution to the architecture of Tilbury (probably built in the early 60s). The block on the left is the old post office, empty and slowly decaying now for probably at least 10 years, when it was replaced by a new office in a converted pub (visible in 913545). The cream-fronted building to the right is the telephone exchange, which is still going strong. |
