Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Fortingall Yew. The Fortingall Yew is estimated to be between 3000 and 5000 years old and perhaps the oldest living thing in Europe. Now protected by a wall and iron fence the tree is impressive though due to its fragmentation over the years through vandalism and natural old age it has largely been reduced from what it once was. This pic shows the original girth of the trunk system 847575.
