Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Five Bells. Built in 1668, and situated in old Chelsfield village (as opposed to the newer part of Chelsfield situated the other side of the A224, near Chelsfield railway station). Called the Five Bells after the number of bells in St Martin of Tours church (see 321877). No longer valid, though, as a sixth bell was cast in 1936 to add to the five dating from 1672! Grade II listed - for listing particulars see http://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=358385&resourceID=5
