[edit]DescriptionThe Entrance To Brough Haven - geograph.org.uk - 216989.jpg |
English: The Entrance To Brough Haven, south of Brough, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Brough Haven is a very small tidal shelter, now used only by small pleasure craft. The Romans are believed to have used the haven as the northern destination of their ferry across the Humber Estuary, which lay in the way of their road between Lincoln and York. |
