Description
English: The Eight Acres The name of the field according to the 1839 tithe map and now the middle section of a field that includes The Seven Acres to the west and Cart House Field to the east. The bush contains an old shed or small barn whilst the Sussex Greensand Way, a Roman Road that once linked Barcombe Mills to the Roman station at Hardham runs along the crest of the ridge.
