Description
English: I am declaring a dead heat between [/photos/8468254@N02/ derangedlemur] [/photos/91549360@N03/ & OwenMacC] in terms of the time it took to identify Bray as the location of this photo, well done Gents.


This is the Eagle Hotel, 61/62 Strand Road otherwise 1/2 Grosvenor Terrace, Bray Co. Wicklow. We hear that the building is dated 1907 and we see that in 1985 the building had been replaced by new Apartments. It strikes me that the lifetime of the original building was very short especially when compared to some of the buildings we see on this stream.

[/photos/gnmcauley/ Niall McAuley] points us back to our catalogue where you can zoom in on another photo of Bray and see the Eagle Hotel, see his comment below. He also tells us that Miss Healy was the proprietress of the hotel.
