Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe ELT dome (and neighbours) at sunset (dji-20240606235157-ang).jpg |
English: This drone image from June 2024 shows ESO's Extremely Large Telescope (ELT) dome, against the brilliant landscape of Chile's Atacama Desert. The small group of buildings at the bottom of the mountain is the ELT basecamp, that houses construction staff working on the ELT. Also visible are the ELT's closest neighbours: the Cerro Murphy Observatory, to the left, and ESO's Paranal Observatory on the mountains in the far distance. |
