English: The Dovecot Tower, Usk Castle The tower, in the outer ward and in the centre of the picture, dates from around 1380 and was built as a decorative addition to the castle by the Mortimer family.
To the left is the Tithe Barn and in the distance the Priory Church. The Wentworth Forest forms the horizon of this splendid view over Usk from the Castle. |
