Description
English: The Doo Cave, Kincraig Cliff This cave at the base of the cliff on the 'Chain Walk' is known as the Doo Cave since it is a haunt of pigeons. Nearby to the west is the Deil's Cave and further at the east end of the cliff is MacDuff's Cave where MacDuff, Thane of Fife, is said to have hidden when pursued by MacBeth before escaping across the Forth from Earlsferry to North Berwick in the 11th century.
