SUPERNUMERARY TOOTH INVOLVING THE ANTRUM. 563 on the outer surface of the maxillaabove and a little interior to the upperfirst molar, and a fistulous opening dis-charging pus through the gums betweenthe first molar and second bicuspid. The patient had a normal set of teethas to number, except that the thirdmolars had not yet erupted. An X ray-showed the unerupted molars in theirproper positions and an unerupted, im-pacted supernumerary tooth, the crownof which lay between the apex of theantro-buccal root of the upper first mo-lar and the second bicuspid, with theroot extending upward and backward atan angle of about 45 degrees, as shownin the accompanying radiograph.
