(Fig. 15.) The morphological effects of thesevascular lesions on the surrounding softparts is very noticeable. In some in-vol. xltx.—11 but occasionally as wide as the cellsthemselves. They (the cells) are flat-tened laterally, and their nuclei areplaniform. They are gathered togetherinto bundles or sheaves. (Fig. 5.)The sheaving of the odontoblasts is ofvery common occurrence. It has beennoticed by other writers, particularly byWalkhoff, who gives photomicrographs of 134 THE DENTAL COSMOS. Fig. 8.
