| Description | A peaceful little hidden walled public garden is situated within a stone's throw of Lincoln's Castle and sadly missed by many tourist and sighteers who pass close by. The tranquil, walled John Dawber Garden, tucked away behind the children's play area in the Lawn Complex, provides a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The garden has areas devoted to Lincoln's twin towns, including eucalyptus trees from Port Lincoln, Australia, a German section dedicated to Neustadt an der Weinstrasse and an area celebrating the city's links with Tangshan, in China. |
