The two ponies started to run. ^^Oh, Im going to beat! Im going tobeat! Janet cried, for she saw that StarFace was getting ahead of Clipclap. ^^No youre not! shouted Teddy, and hetouched his heel to the ponys flank. Clip-clap gave a jump forward, and then some-thing happened. Teddy took a flying leap, and right overClipclaps head he sailed, coming down onhis hands and loiees some distance off. Clip-clap fell down and rolled over in the grasswhile Janet kept on toward the hill thatmarked the end of the race. The little girl reached this place first, notbeing able to stop her ponv when she sawwhat had happened to Teddy.
