to report occasionally for observation andimmediately if he should have any trouble with the eye. When seen May 21, two months after the injury, the eyeshows practically the same condition. He has had no troublewith it since the first examination. The vision of the eye is 2/45.The left eye has a vision of 6/5 partly with normal fundus. Case II. The Haab magnet fails to dislodge a piece ofsteel which is removed by the small Hirshberg magnet througha scleral incision after localization by the X-ray. Mrs. M. H., age 46, was referred to me by Dr Kelker April3 wilh the history that four days previously she was standing atthe curb when a street car passed her. There was an explosionand flash of light somewhere about the car and something struckher in the left eye.
