English: Satire on unsophisticated singers. Eight male singers, heavily caricatured, in a box pew inside a Gothic church are singing from a book; one man on the right plays a recorder. Behind, on the left, the bust of a man is attached to the wall; on the right is a hatchment with a verse below reading, 'Stephen and Time / Are now both even / Stephen beat Time / Now Time beat Stephen'; after epitaph added. 1773
