The accompanying table showsthe condition of Endeavor work,mainly by States, so far as the Con-ference Christian Endeavor secre-taries have reported to the generalsecretary. Only the New Englandand Indiana secretaries made com-plete reports. The items of theother sections were gleaned mainlyfrom Conference Minutes, etc. Itwill be seen that where completereports were made gratifying gainsare seen. If all our ConferenceChristian Endeavor secretarieswould take the pains to keep intouch with the societies and reportthe actual state of the work wewould see gratifying gains all alongthe line. Besides the statistics re-ported in this table, four Inter-mediate Societies are known toexist, with a membership of 135,thus making the whole number ofsocieties reporting 417; also 401honorary members were reported,mainly from one State, making theentire members
