Summary
[edit]DescriptionThe Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary - geograph.org.uk - 827399.jpg |
English: The Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary Mariner's chapel in the museum complex at Buckler's Hard. Hard to believe that ships for Nelson's navy were built here. It's taken me a very long time to get here and I did enjoy it but must confess to being a widget loving industrial archaeologist.
As some of you know - in museological circles there is a schism (or a chasm) between the social historians and the machine lovers (the former seem to be in the ascendancy). I'm sure we could find somewhere to discuss this further. |
